Blog post 4

Asking questions can be a very important way for teacher to get on the level of students. By asking a question a teacher can jump start the minds of a student making them think and use this tool.
But how do you ask a question that is effective? Simple really the question should be in depth to force the student to find an answer on there own. Now your tempting a student to find out the answer and teach themselves which is the reason for education. Question are a great way to force a student to find things out and to really learn. Say your teaching history and are studying WW2 you ask a question like What drove Hitler into being the man who he became? this question now forces the student to read not just the when where but puts more on the why. which is the most important because this helps students get more interested and learn the small thing that will peak the student to learn more.

  1. I like how you gave examples on how to ask these questions. Also, I like how you gave examples on how these questions would help the students learn. I did not add examples in mine, so from reading your blog post I found that I should have added these to make my blog post stand out and draw the whole blog post together.
